Come SEPTEMBER 30, 2006, Binibining Pilipinas World 2006 ANNA MARIZ ARCAY IGPIT from Panglao, Bohol, will represent the Philippines in the prestigious MISS WORLD 2006 competition in WARSAW, POLAND.

Mariz, the 5'7" BS Tourism student of Southwestern University, Cebu City , is the daughter of Allan Guimalan Igpit and Ma. Socorro Arcay Igpit. She was the first runner-up during the Miss Bohol Sandugo 2003 and eventually won the title as the Miss Bohol Sandugo in 2005.
