Chatto-Lim duo readies against Che fear factor

Admin up for any eventuality in polls

The Liberal Party slate of Gov. Edgar Chatto and his partner V-Gov. Concepcion Lim is ready for any eventuality in the coming elections aimed at frustrating the true will of the electorate. Not discounting the possibility of employing the so-called “fear factor” from the opponent who was earlier touted as preparing a war chest, the combined forces of the current administration urged the peace-loving Boholanos to “fight back,” against vote-buying vultures bent not only on using dirty tactics but also sheer force to capitalize on the people’s fear. This means, that the current administration has the means to fight in the most peaceful way possible, sans force and firearms, according to a Capitol press release. “Wa’y mahadlok kung wa’y magpahadlok,” Vice-Gov. Lim boldly stated during a cluster meeting of the residents of Montesuerte, Carmen, together with the people of neighboring barangays of Buenavista, El Progreso and Villafuerte. Vice-Gov. Lim’s reaction was an offshoot of reports from supporters that political hopeful for the gubernatorial seat, Mayor Che Toribio Ordoñez de los Reyes of Carmen, has implored the help of criminal elements to help ensure her victory in May. “Protecting the sanctity of the ballot and guarding our votes despite fearful threats would show them that Boholanos are not easily frightened nor easy targets of fraud, deception and con games,” Gov. . Chatto bravely seconded.

LAMENT

Barangay Captain Arnulfo Genson of Montesuerte in Carmen told of his barangay’s inspiring and brave step in directly communicating with the Chatto-Lim Administration “aron masiguro nga ang mga proyekto ug progama gikan sa Kapitolyo maabot dinhi sa atong barangay.” Genson added, “katong Purok Power Movement, dako kaayo to’g tabang nga nahatag dinhi sa Montesuerte. Mga pansayan, patubig, mga karsada ug uban pa. Kanang Pedro Memorial High School, ang yuta ana gi-donar sa atong vice-mayor unya gitagaan pa gyud ta’g tabang ni gob (referring to Gov. Edgar Chatto). Nakita na nato ang ilang tabang. Dili ta anang damgo pa,” urged Genson further. Carmenanons are now lamenting and airing their dilemma that “Dili gusto si Mayor Che nga moduol mi sa Kapitolyo. Mao diay. Nangambisyon diay siyang mamahimong gobernador. Ug nanghinaot mi nga dili gyud na mahitabo kay dakong makaluluoy jud ang katawhang Bol-anon kung siya’y makadaog!”

EXPOSE’

Provincial Administrator Alfonso Damalerio II, who is also the Provincial Peace and Order Cluster Head, fearlessly informed the people of Carmen of the “escapades” of Mayor Che and even showed pertinent public documents signed by the latter of the “supposed net loss” from Chocolate Hills operations. Damalerio also presented documents as evidence of the “swindling and estafa cases” of Mayor Che and narrated how, in 2012, the Mayor of Carmen got so mad upon knowing that the dump truck-carrying anapog of Eula Builders and Supplies, owned by one Christian Paul Toribio Ordoñez (Mayor’s real family name), later verified as the mayor’s son, was intercepted and got arrested by authorities. “Sa balaod, dili na pwede nga ikaw ug ang imong pamilya mao’y mo supply,” Damalerio informed Carmenanons. “Unya moingon siya nga walay graft and corruption sa iyang lungsod?” he added. “Ang inyong mayor large-scale nga mangngilad. Kaniadtong 1995-1996, napriso na sa Tagbilaran.

Karon naa sila’y gipang apud-apod nga health card. Damalerio said, raising his eyebrows. “Sa iyang SALN or Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth nga iyang gi-submit sa BIR.
