Liswaca Water System Inaugurated

 

INABANGA – Mayor Josephine Socorro Jumamoy led the recent inaugural rites of the Liloan Sur Water Consumers Association's (Liswaca) Level 3 waterworks system here. The local government bought the pipes and spent for their layout and installation as counterpart to the barangay fund that constructed the reservoir and purchase of water pump. Barangay Captain Nenita Logrosa led her constituents in expressing gratitude for the project that now provides water from the household tap. Logrosa vowed to properly maintained the system. Jumamoy said the realization of the water system and other projects is because of the continuous cooperation of all the concerned people and key persons. She said the honest-to-goodness service of her administration does not only intend to assist in improving the lives of the people; it shows that bearing the right attitude towards work and colleagues is a key to better living. Sangguiang Bayan (SB) members Wenceslao Lao, Rodrigo Jumamoy, Doroteo Torrefranca, Alex Lofranco and Gumersindo Melicor also attended the inauguration.

INABANGA – The Bohol Electric Cooperative (Boheco 1) headed by 2nd District Director Rogelio Celmar in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Inabanga headed by Josephine Socorro Jumamoy recently “lighted” the homes of more than 50 families through the Share-a-Light program. The move is on top of this town's local rural electrification. Celmar thanked Jumamoy for being a good partner of their program. He urged the beneficiaries to take care of the gift extended to them. They should also thank the mayor who chose the program beneficiaries, he said.

Meanwhile, the mayor said giving the basic needs to her constituents especially the less privileged has been the byword of her administration. She said her administration always thinks of strategies to properly respond to and meet the needs of her constituents. Living by the principle that the benefits of power should not be beyond the reach of the poor, Jumamoy readily partnered with Boheco 1 to in its program.

Being a service- and development-oriented, the Jumamoy administration sees to it that the people have access to reliable scientific and technological capabilities, make economic prosperity attainable and provide comfort and convenience to the constituents. For their part, the recipients thanked Jumamoy and Boheco 1 for giving them one of the important needs. They promised to be responsible and to abide the existing rules and regulations as new cooperative members.
